This Privacy Policy describes how Volunteers-Attendance (“we”, “our”, “us”) collects, uses and protects information when you use our Android mobile application designed for employee attendance tracking.

Type: GPS and network-based location (approximate and/or precise).
When: Only at the moment you mark your attendance (check‑in / check‑out) inside the app.
Purpose: To verify that attendance is marked from an authorised location such as office, site, or school premises.

3. How we use location data

To record the location coordinates with each attendance entry.
To show your attendance history to you and to your employer or school administrator.
To generate internal reports such as daily, weekly, and monthly attendance summaries.

Your location coordinates and attendance records are stored securely on our servers or your organisation’s servers, depending on how the app is deployed.
Data is retained for as long as your account is active or as required by your employer’s or institution’s attendance policy, after which it may be archived or deleted.

We do not share your personal data or location data with third parties except:

With your employer or authorised organisation administrators who manage attendance records.
When required by law, regulation, or legal process.
With service providers (such as hosting or analytics providers) who process data on our behalf under confidentiality and data‑protection obligations.

Our app is intended for use by employees or authorised users designated by an organisation and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so that we can delete it where required.

Your data may be processed on servers located in a different state or country than where you are located, but always under appropriate safeguards and in accordance with applicable data‑protection laws.

Subject to applicable law and your agreement with your employer or institution, you may request to access, correct, or delete your attendance data, or to restrict certain processing.
